Congratulations to our friend Clemens Wergin, who was named the winner of the Naylor Noggin award from the Dinghy Cruising Association in Britain for "the best log of a cruise in a dinghy" in the year 2020.

Clemens earned the trophy for a delightful story in the Dinghy Cruising Association Journal about camp cruising with his Waterlust Sailing Canoe for a week last June on the interconnected lakes of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern two hours north of Berlin, known as the Kleinseenplatte.

This is the first time this award has gone to someone outside of the U.K. in its 60-year history. "I am very happy and honored by the award," Clemens says. "And of course I had a terrific time with the Waterlust, which as always was the perfect cruising boat."
