WoodenBoat Show at Mystic Seaport

Aspiring boatbuilders and wooden boat enthusiasts within a few hours' drive of Mystic, Connecticut, should join us for one of our favorite events of the year. We will have a select group of boats from our fleet - including our newest models - on hand for you to inspect.
The WoodenBoat Show is at Mystic Seaport, an active living history museum consisting of a recreated village, ships and 17 acres of exhibits depicting coastal life in New England in the 19th century. The official show website is here: WoodenBoat Show.
We'll have lots going on and plenty of boats on display. In the booth we'll have a full selection of boat plans, materials, and supplies - and great discounts on everything.
John Harris and Nick Schade will hold forth on technical aspects of boatbuilding -- and Nick will be demonstrating strip-building techniques on a Nymph Canoe in the booth all weekend. John's schedule includes technical seminars as well.
We're expecting some excitement for our kit-built replica of the "Gislinge Boat," a small Viking Ship (sort of). Look for it in the water.
Our friends from the Cocktail Class Wooden Boat Racing Association will be on hand, too, with a fleet of these ridiculously fun speedsters, an an exhibition race or two.
