The Wooden Boat Festival in Port Townsend, WA

Every year we look forward to heading out to the beautiful Pacific Northwest to man a booth at the Wooden Boat Festival in Port Townsend, WA. If you haven't been, Port Townsend knows how to put on a party, especially if wooden boats are involved. We're there September 5-6-7, with a nice selection of boats on display.
The family-friendly festival invites your participation in many ways. You can bring and exhibit your own beautiful wooden boat, get out on the water in a variety of ways, or take part in a variety of special activities just for children ranging from boatbuilding and on-water adventures, to music, dancing, plays, and sea chanteys, even a treasure hunt. This year there are even more opportunities to get out on the water for show-goers. More than 200 boats will be on display, including two PocketShips (Vern & Barb Brock's Little Bean and Jon Lee's Solitude) and Seth Rolland's Skerry Waterstrider.
Many of the familiar CLC crew will be on hand, and our friend and colleague Nick Schade will be there as well, strip-building a Nymph canoe in the booth. We're looking forward to seeing many of our friends old and new!
