Sad Times - Deck Sanding
Posted by Brad Wells on May 8, 2004
Yes! After many starts and stops on this project, I am finally on to the finishing process. This is good because my PFD showed up last week ;-)
I have a question though about sanding the deck on my CLC LT 17. The foredeck has quite a bit of chamber to it. Is it safe to use my ROBS on it or do I need to hand sand the deck?
I used the scraper technique on the deck during the epoxy steps, so it is starting pretty clean. I guess one option would be to start in with my ROBS using 150 grit so that it won't cut as fast, but I thought it best to check with the experts.
Thanks in advance for your help.
