Also, on the Volvo 940, the Quik-N-Easy Mounts clear the factory rack. (Its amazing that such a sturdy car has a screwed together flimsy rack - Volvo 940 roof capacity = 220 pounds, factory rack specification = 70 pounds - go figure)
