Mac, I agree with what LeeG sez. I do like the wing though; in the right boat. I find a wing very easy to paddle with. A lot has to do with your stroke. My paddles are carbon fiber and light like my boats. My wing weighs 20 oz. and it is a two piece with a fairly heavy connector thingie.
