Not bad karma,,,sunspot activity possibly. That's why I asked about the method of deck installation that you used as the MC decks have less severe of a bend than the kayaks. re.3mmdecks,,without a lot of glass it makes for a very delicate deck in the wide shallow arch on the MC. The original demo/proto MC16 with an unglassed 3mm deck was marginal but the kits/plans always designated 4mm for the deck.
