Custom Roof Racks

Hi All, I'm in the midst of throwing together a custom roof rack for the ch-14. I was inspired by Kurt's beautiful design and a lack of cash remaining in my wallet.

I'm wondering if others have gone the custom route as well and would be willing to share their designs and lessons.
