just sand it lightly and roll on another coat once it does that. My cedar strip canoe has graphite/epoxy on the bottom and it's been on there for 10 years now. I've not recoated yet.
Of course it does get stored out of the sunlight.
But it isn't, and won't be, shiny- the graphite makes the coating a dull black- more of a matte finish. Which works for me.
