Are all foot braces....

What a job! I had aligned and pre-drilled the holes for my foot braces "way back when". Since my fourth, and FINAL, coat of varnish came out great last night, I decided to install the braces tonight.

One went in easy as pie. I fought with the second one for 25 minutes. Simply would not line up.

Apparently, the brace bodies must come out of different cavities and the screw hole placement varies just a little. Or at least enough to disallow lining up the screw.

I ended up elongating the hole in the hull panel slightly and finally got everything in place and tight. Now I need a shower or a drink. Maybe a shower and a drink.
