This is excellent technique. You must have worked in a cabinet shop sometime in the past. For those of you new to this idea, you scrape with the flat side towards you, drawing the chisel towards you. And as Bill says, hold the handle almost vertically... which way you tilt the handle depends on which direction yields the best scraping action, but start at vertical. It's great for addressing small problem areas; use a larger scraper for larger problem areas.
