Nice job.
I built a pair that are similar except that I bought two foam blocks with a shallow V in them (3" x 16" x about 3" high- about $14 CDN each) which I glued to a flat piece of plywood. The feet are similar to yours, but I used tee nuts to reduce the number of pieces to lose. Works great. Beats spending $200 CDN on Mako saddles.
