15000 grit is too smooth

In fact, in between coats of (tractor) paint, if I sand at all, I intend to use 120 or 220 grit, depending on how its going.
In between coats of varnish, CLC suggests wet sanding with 400 grit, and you've seen the pics - they can achieve a glassy smooth finish with that technique. So, I don't see any need to mess with anything finer than that.
