Bob,
You're ahead of me on your boat, so I'm *not* speaking from experience here. However...
This sounds like what the manual described as 'outgassing' (I think). It occurs if the temperature of the expoxy rises during cure.
Cooling during the epoxy cure was ok.
Again, only what I read, not from experience.
