Okay, I have no idea what Araldite is but I'll try anyway. Two-part epoxy is the best glue for marine wood under two conditions: 1. It must be thickened with Cabosil or Fumed Silica until it is the texture of mayonaise. Plain epoxy will run out and leave a weak joint. 2. You must be willing to pay the price. It is arguably the most expensive wood glue.
