Thanks Kurt for the reality check! Onward I go! After fiddling about and getting all wrapped up in packing tape during the dry-run I have decided to stick with good old nails, straps and my big-hands neighbour to help hold things down. I will fill the remaining gap when I get the forward hatch open.
