Heck yes! #1 wife made a bigger hole by dropping boat. Fill hole with putty made of half catalyzed epoxy and half microbubbles. Or half wood flour if it's more convenient. Put glass tape over crack on the inside if you can reach it, outside if you can't. Epoxy in place. Sand, paint & paddle.
