Another Season begins.
Posted by David Twomey on May 29, 2004
Hi Everyone,
Last year in the wet New England summer I managed in my little free time to finish a chesapeake 17 hull. At least it's glassed and epoxied anyway. I need to add the deck and the coaming etc
Now I just pulled it out from under the tarp in the barn where it's been all winter hoping to finish it.
I noticed that the epoxy covering the exterior glass has lots of tiny marks that look like cracks or cracking. And on the interior glass that covers the fillets I noticed a brownish discoloration as if the epoxy has become muddied or murky.
Does anyone know what these are and how to correct them if possible.
Thanks so much David
