1 coat is insufficient... I just found this out today :-(
Putting a second coat on after the deck is installed is likely to be tough, I am about to find out how tough :-(
I'm building a second boat now and plan to put two coats on the underside of the deck prior to installing the deck. I'll install while the second coat is still wet so it won't be too stiff. Though from Lee's post this might not be necessary.
To see a water stain start to appear 2 weeks after launching is really disappointing. Don't make the same mistake I did.
