Not to waylay this thread, but does anyone know how long to dry out the wood before applying the second coat? By drying the wood, I'm referring to the water that got past my one coat of epoxy (underside of the deck) and is creating a visible shadow under the epoxy and varnish topside.

Will the shadow ever go away?

I'm worried about water getting trapped between the epoxy layers and expanding in the freezing winter weather.
