Mac:

My boat behaves like yours. I haven't resolved all of the traits beacuse the boat actually is not yet finished. Play around with weight distribution in the boat. If I had hatches, I'd throw a gallon jug of water in the rear for downwind runs. If your seat is movable, mount it farther rearward, if possible.

I also have the Triple. Weight distribution is important in that boat as well. In my case, I run that boat light, sometimes with little kids as passengers. Water ballast works wonders.
