I found that suspending the boat from the ceiling made the job of applying a second coat to the underside of the deck after assembly much easier. I suspended the kayak, deck down, at just below chest height with heavy duty tie-down straps. The cockpit was just a matter of climbing in head first with a headlamp on and painting on the epoxy. I also put fillets along the shears and bulkheads. The forward and aft stowage areas were a little trickier but are doable with a little care.
