No. Just sand 'er smooth, and glass away when the new cloth arrives, overlap the old, and feather it in. Then tell everyone you tried both "dry-glassing" AND seal-coating, to see which is better; they'll think you're a real smart hot shot, and not some goof who managed to run out of cloth halfway down the deck.

How DID you manage that, anyway? Just curious.
