Hang it horizontally(?)

If you're boat is a plywood stitch and glue boat, I don't think there would be any problem storing vertically.

Vertical storage would probably warp most plastic boats; especially if the temperatures were high.

As an alternative, perhaps horizontal storage from some rafters might work out.
