Re: PFD Recomendations

Lazlo,
Interesting - and tempting. I have been wearing an expensive kayak type PFD for the last two weeks and HATE IT! Even though it is a shorty, when I fold my considerable bulk into a kayak, my expanded pear-shaped gut causes the pfd to slide up under my chin. Not the XXL PFD's fault -look what it has to work with!
As I write this, Canadian Tire has a Mustang manually inflatable on sale, as well as the pouch model, for $30 off.
Do you have the long or short version? And does it matter a whole lot?
Thanks...
