Pintail?

wow,,you've got a whole other boat there compared to the Pintail. I paddled in my Chatham16 next to a guy in this thing

and I suspect it's a similar difference you're describing,,,being able to acclerate up to speeds not possible with a rough water boat. I was curious about the hull rocker and wondered if this was your first Pax18 construction or applying changes from paddling one and building another. It looks sharp. Everytime I get in a fast kayak it tells me I don't have the heart, lungs or muscles to use it. But I'm still thinking of getting a Chatham18.
