Re: flush hatch mold

I'm curious - for those of you who have built flush hatches - deciding on 'which method to use'. I built mine, using the cutout as the hatch cover, and maintaining hatch curvature with the underside braces, same as the standard hatch. The double thickness hatch described in this thread never made much sense to me; and guessing for 'springback' seems less precise, as well. Anyone here try both methods, and care to weigh in?
