Under 30 ? I was hand carrying my 15' canoe from the drive way to the garage, overhead portage type carry, and a wind gust turned me like a wind vane. No I wasn't useing a bow or stern tie down. Running a line from the bow 'tween my legs to the stern didn't like it would help much. I will not discuss other tie options!!! RogerJ
