Good to hear from you Robert.
Sounds like a fun group and good paddling.
I built both of Chris K's paddles as well. Made the diamond shape smaller for my wife and the bigger guy for me. I find the asymetrical blades quite large and call it my sprint paddle. (If you saw me, you'd know what a joke that is).
Now I'm off to the golf shop to buy a Robo sail.
