Doug, sorry to hear the Chicken a la Cedar didn't work out.
We've got a whole bunch of Canadian beavers up here who find Chicken-Fried Plank delicious. ('course they throw away the chicken).
Seriously, We also have a bunch of bears (including me) who love salmon cooked on wetted cedar over/beside a camp fire.
