Peter, Folks do - but it's a hassle. Better to buy cheap brushes in bulk and toss 'em. Try to use rollers and plastic squeegees rather than brushes as much as possible. Cheap brushes loose their bristles in your work. Rollers you toss and vinegar cleans your squeegees.
