Thanks for the info Mike. Sorry to take so long in getting back. Well, I did it and it was a success. However, there is a pretty good gap at the joint of the shear panel and deck line. I'd say about 1/8". It's becuase the plywood just wouldn't bend to that radius...being such a short piece in width. When there is a good radius like for instance on the bow section the gap is minimal.
I was sure to plane the shear clamp to the right radius, very smooth and rolled from the one radius to the next. I assume that gap will pretty much disappear with some wood flour thickened epoxy I hope. I think I'm now going to paint the hull anyway.
