Re: Copper sutures

Lots of guys use the plastic cable ties to do stitch and glue boats. We used them on two D5 prams we build for a kids club. They do not get the panels as tight and precisely aligned as wire does so it was hard to get the boats aligned and ready to fillet. Also its easy to break them unless you use big ones. I think they are a big pain to thread through the holes too - not as stiff - and the holes are bigger than for wire stitches. I would not use them again.
