Fillets? What Fillets??

Just to fan the flames (when you thought this subject was dying) my kayak designs don't call for any fillets at all, and only use 2" wide tape. I'm 250lbs, and have bashed my hull pretty hard with nary a crack. I would suggest a full glassing of the inside of the cockpit area.

So, fillets as "narrow as you dare"? No problem. 'Course to do this, it is obviously better to pull the wires.

Different strokes... To each his own.....etc.

That's what makes wooden boat building so unique -no ISO 9000 and whatever.
