Thanks again for the input.

Point well taken: there is *no* standard - simply personal variations on a theme.

I'm accustomed to the routine use of SOPs and checklists but I can appreciate that the "artistic" side gets a bit more emphasis in this sort of project.

That said, I'll try a section with the wires in and see what kind of a fillet I can manage.
