Having read the entire thread, there is a subject that did not come up, but I've been wondering about. I read somewhere recently about using popsicle or similar sticks in the wired joints to hold the panels apart while the fillet was made. The claim was that with the dookie in between the panels, it made a stronger joint than panels joining wood on wood, covered by the fillet. Any experience with this or pros and cons?
