Good day!
Posted by Alvin John on Sep 9, 2005
Good day to all! I am new here and I wish to be a part of this forum. I have not yet built a boat and I have not been on the water with a paddle since 30 years ago on an outrigger canoe! I want to build a kayak and I need help to decide which one. My two choices are the Chesapeake 18 and the Mill Creek 16.5. I am 6'1" and at least 175 lb. and sometimes goes as high as 200 lb. Shoe size 11. I live in the Philippines and the kayak will used on the open sea. I am 42 years old, married with 2 daughters. Thank you for any advice.
