Z Spar
Posted by Veto on Sep 11, 2005
CLC or anyone w/ good info: I see that CLC now recommends Interlux finishes. When I got my kit the manual called for Z SPAR Captain's Varnish 1015. So, that is what I am using, I am getting heavy orange peel. The consistency is correct, 1 drip per second, the gun is 4-9" from the surface (HVLP), and the surface is properly prepared, 400W/D paper then wiped down prior to spraying w/thinner. The manual of the sprayer says to use a retardent, where can it be gotten and does it have another name??
