Get a stack of 3x5 cards, decide where you want the bulkhead to go and start stapling cards together to make an outline of 1/2 of the hull from top of the deck around to the keeline. Use the 1/2 template to make left/right sides of the bulkhead. Then subtract the thickness of the wood, interior obstructions like sheerclamps,fillets, etc.
