Brad,

I'd say mine was 1/4" to 3/8" at the widest point. I wouldn't worry about the 1/8" gap in yours but the 1/4" I would probably adjust, if it's not too late. If you've already filleted, I'd say try some 2" tape and if it doesn't hold you can always repair it later without a lot of difficulty.
