carbon/kevlar hatches

I am looking for a foam that will hold up the the epoxy.

I made the hatches on my wr18 out of 2x2 twill red and black carbon kevlar as well as the combing(the red came out looking like a dark red wine color allmost).

I need the foam to glas onto the back to the hatch so it will float (IE, i need surfboard foam ) i was thinking of ordering some from aircraft spruce.

i think i went overboard on the hatches(i only wanted to do them once, there 64oz of fiberglass skinned with 5.6oz carbon kevlar
