Guess maybe I should be clearer onm the canoe. It's a S&G version on the Wee Lassie, 11.5' in length with a 27" width. It will have 4 panels each side with the center beint the joint. IE, each panel is half of itself. It just seemed to me that the extra glass tape would make a bulge, but maybe the epoxie and glass cover over the whole thing will even it all out. The attached is a link to the site, the project is the Little Kate. Maybe for this I'll just stick to the simpler butt joint as called for in drawings.
