That's a Platt Monfort "Geodesic Aerolite" canoe, built by my friend Gretchen, with sporadic assistance from me....while we were both in high school. Weighs about 15 pounds. We won't be making kits for those, although Monfort sold skazillions of them. Really neat boats. Watch out for oyster shells.

He was an enormously clever inventor and boatbuilder, subject of various WoodenBoat Magazine features. Platt Monfort died at age 84 on June 8th, 2005. Photo of Platt Monfort:
