I'll be applying the Devcon onto the the glassed hull. I'll sand back the paint and give the glass a fresh coat of normal epoxy resin, before applying the Devcon.

I don't know what temperature heat guns produce, however I doubt it would get the material above it's maximum operating temperature of 120C
