glass on coaming
Posted by Mike D on Oct 27, 2005
Finally got the coaming sanded on the WR18 that is slowly taking shape in the shop. I have seen pictures of builders putting glass on their coamings and understand that it would increase the resistance to damage, especially during rescues, but am wondering if the added weight is worthwhile on a boat that will seldom be used in rescue situations.
Any input from anyone with experience will be gratefully appreciated.
