3" fiberglass strip
Posted by Mike on Nov 16, 2005
I am currently helping a friend build a ch17, and also restoring my own ch16 i bought used. We have both experienced the edge curling up on the 3" fiberglass strip when applying epoxy. At first I thought my freind had just recieved a bad batch, but the 3" strip i just received for my restoration is doing the same thing. In both cases, it's just one edge of the strip curling up, the other side lays flat. Can anybody explain this? is it normal? is there a trick to getting a smooth edge.
