Chines and keel
Posted by Chris J. on Dec 4, 2005
I'm sanding down the hull of my Chesapeake 16 and rounding over the chines and keel prior to glassing. I've put a substantial radius on the round-overs to the point where I have ribbons of plywood now showing...It looks pretty but have I gone too far?...if not, is there a good way to keep these lines straight as I sand or just go by eye? I'm hoping for a bright finish..will these lines look o.k.? Thanks
