For the Sharpie, what would be the pluses and minuses of a rig similar to David's (on both masts)?

My plan is to go with sprit-boomed triangular sails, similar to Charlie J's. But I am open to new ideas, and David's tanbark sprit-rig is awful pretty. The sharpie is already a somewhat traditional/working boat design, so this idea doesn't seem too crazy.
