Thanks for the kind words of motivation Ken...We do plan on sanding the entire kayak by hand...We're building in the basement so flying dust is a concern. As soon as I have this hull epoxied we're going to start another for our daughter. We'll bring it to the same stage then complete the decks, coaming etc. together...We're looking at an Algonquin vacation in August so based on this job we should be alright.
One question I do have for a vet like yourself...When I applied the second coat of epoxy I used a foam roller (West System)...it seemed to introduce a lot of bubbles...I tipped them out with a regular bristle brush...is there a better way?
