Making Akas.... John?

Hi folks - and John...

Im at the point where i want to make the forms for my akas. Now Im building from kit, so I have an option here.

One method is to cut the 10' long forms out of two seperate pieces of ply wood. The OTHER method is to use like a series of cut out blocks that are placed along the aka lines - which I believe was the old way. Anyone want to weigh in on this?

Oh and I need bigger clamps for this process. What size and how many? Will PVC work if the piping is big enough?
